Food
Vietnamese food is delicious and renowned for its healthy fresh ingredients; especially with the herbs, spices and vegetables the locals use in their cooking. The flavours are a balance of salty, sweet, sour and hot! Local favourite ingredients include soy sauce, lemongrass, ginger, Vietnamese mint, lime and Bird’s Eye chilis.
On your travels, make sure to eat Vietnam’s spring rolls (Goi Cuon), baguette sandwiches (Banh Mi), mini hamburgers on noodles in Hanoi (Bun Cha) and of course, Pho! Endless bowls of noodle soup are served in Vietnam’s restaurants and street food stalls across the country and it is the perfect dish to have for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
