Get around

Public transport

The Toronto Transit Commission is made up of buses, subways and streetcars. It costs $3 for one continuous ride in one direction. A single day pass costs $10.75. Weekly and monthly passes are also available. Many attractions are within walking distance of Union Station.

It’s extremely easy to navigate Toronto by foot as most of the tourist attractions are located Downtown. Toronto’s grid system, similar to New York, is very easy to follow. Canadian’s are very friendly and will point you in the right direction.

You will still be able to reach attractions by food when it’s winter time; an underground system named PATH connects a number of buildings accessible to pedestrians when it’s too cold to walk outside.

You can easily hail a taxi or alternatively request an Uber through the app.
