Puerto Princesa

Get there

Many travellers coming to Puerto Princesa city arrive by air. There are flights from Manilla to Puerto Princesa with Air Asia, Cebu Pacific, Air Philippines and Zest Air daily. Flights to Puerto Princesa also operate from Davao and Cebu City, El Nido, Busuanga and Luzon. Puerto Princesa’s airport is small and central so getting to your accommodation is easy. Take a tricycle from the main road once you exit the airport.

Take note that when departing Puerto Princesa airport, there is a terminal fee of 200 pesos for domestic flights and 700 pesos for international flights.

There is also a ferry coming from Manila, all the way to Puerto Princesa. This takes around 29 hours. Obviously, do not take this route if flexibility and extra time in your journey is not possible. This ferry stops midway in Coron, which is an excellent location for shipwreck diving.
