Get around
New York City has a fully extensive public transportation system that serves 4 boroughs and runs 24 hours a day. It’s quite easy to get around. The NYC transit system is one of the most used in the US, with 472 stations and 25 different services. This is by far the fastest way to get around the city and you’ll likely get a live performance or two from buskers.
The second best option is to walk. New York’s grid system is very easy to follow once you get the hang of it, so you can figure out how far or close you are to your next location. Take a stroll while taking in the architectural beauty and New York in its natural element.
Uber, taxis and buses are other options of choice, but traffic is rife in the city. However, they are great options for seeing the city without walking.
