Travelling Alone

Solo travellers to Colombia may be suprised to find out that travelling alone in Colombia is safe and should not be a worry as long as you take the usual precautions with travel in other countries.

There are also plenty of travellers backpacking in Colombia, mostly in the “Zona Cafetera” which is located between Colombia’s west coast and it’s capital city Bogota. This place is the conjunction of agreeable temperatures, lush green valleys, and impressive snow-capped peaks; which makes it perfectly adapted for curious travellers.  If you are travelling alone in Colombia you are sure to find other travellers to team up as well.

As a women travelling alone in Colombia I would not worry, just try not to let the odd cat call get to you.
