Culture & Religion

As the second largest country in the world, religion and culture in Canada is quite diverse. The official languages are English and French, and Christianity is the most practiced religion.

Quebec is heavily influenced by the French due to colonisation. Common French customs, such as kissing each other on the cheeks, will be more common here.

Canadians are known for being more liberal than their American counterparts, valuing equality over many values. Due to this, Canada is known for accepting other cultures and values.

Canadians are known for their politeness, but don’t compare them to Americans! Canadians are very to their neighbours across the pond and may be offended if you class them as all the same.
